The Ice Cream Farm, based just outside Chester, has launched its brand new off-road Mini Land Rover adventure ‘Rocky Road’. The attraction, aimed at children aged 3 to 10, will be the first one of its kind in the North West to offer this amazing off-road experience using replica mini Land Rovers.
‘Rocky Road’ at The Ice Cream Farm, offers kids a rare chance to experience the thrill of driving their own off-road vehicle. Travelling along muddy paths and splashing through puddles, they will be able to look out for wild and exciting things along the way.
Replacing the current ‘SCOOP JCB’ activity, kids will have fun navigating their way safely over the dedicated course in Mini Land Rovers. There is also a beginners’ section where little drivers will get to build their confidence and test out their brakes.
General Manager, Katie Lewis, comments: “Rocky Road is the ultimate adventure for a broad range of kids. The mini Land Rovers not only look realistc but also provide tons of fun. Whilst we were sad to see SCOOP go, Rocky Road is set to become a firm favourite with everyone”.
This new attraction has been created in conjunction with course designers Mini Safari World and it is the only off-road mini safari course of its kind in the North West.
The launch of the new attraction will also see the return of the Rocky Road flavour chocolate ice cream, with marshmallows, biscuit pieces, chocolate pieces and a chocolate ripple.
It’s not just Rocky Road that’s new at The Ice Cream Farm this summer, ‘Betty Butterscotch and Friends’ are putting on toe tapping, special performances at the brand new tipi theatre, The Playhouse which run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer holidays.

Cheshire Farm Ice Cream has come a long way since 1986 when it was just a small parlour selling ice cream straight from the farm.
