With increased restrictions on our daily lives it is now more than ever important to enjoy the little things whilst we can. Today I got the chance to visit the new and improved Champneys Spa at Mottram Hall. This is the first Champneys Spa in the North, bringing with them innovative techniques, latest technology, and unparalleled experience you would expect of the UK’s Original health Spa.
Since Champneys acquired Mottram Hall in 2018, The hotel has undergone a £15m transformation with £10m spent on the 33,000 sq ft spa facilities alone. Including a 20m swimming pool with poolside cabanas, as well as DaleSauna brechel and organic saunas, salt steam room, ice fountain, monsoon and drench showers, and a cold room. Not forgetting the new 2 story gym full of brand new equipment and spin studio opening next week.
The new spa offering does not stop there and from next week there will be an inhouse barbers and hair stylist alongside the 15 treatment rooms for Champneys, Elemis and Clarins experiences and a beauty lounge offering manicures, pedicures and make-up.
But what would a day at the spa be with out a bite to eat, and you now have a choice of grabbing a drink and snack in the sociable and relaxing Spa lounge, or a full nutritious meal in the new restaurant – there really is an option for all.
So why not book a robed and relaxed spa day from £79pp and be one of the first to experience everything the spa has to offer. Including in the package is a complimentary healthy lunch in the stunning surrounds of our instagrammable new spa café. Your fluffy robe and flip flops await.
Or become part of the Champneys family with the health club membership benefits, such as exclusive access to the new spa facilities and state of the art gym and fitness classes. Health club membership at Mottram Hall is more than just access to a gym, it’s a lifestyle. With unparalleled benefits, you’ll want to move in!
The improvements don’t stop there, Mottram Hall is only part way through it’s planned improvements, with extension to it’s 18 hole golf course and facilities due next year and refurbishments of all the hotel rooms. You may also notice downstairs the new bar and reception where the new traditional Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed. If you haven’t been to Mottram hall recently I certainly recommend a Staycation or day visit to this true Cheshire resort destination.
Sitting at the heart of Mottram Hall, our recently awarded two AA Rosette Carrington Grill features mouth-watering menus that focus on traditional English dishes with a twist.
