Today I got the chance to visit the new and improved Champneys Spa at Mottram Hall. Since Champneys acquired Mottram Hall in 2018, The hotel has undergone a £15m transformation with £10m spent on the 33,000 sq ft spa facilities alone. Including a 20m swimming pool with poolside cabanas, as well as DaleSauna brechel and organic saunas, salt steam room, ice fountain, monsoon and drench showers, and a cold room. Not forgetting the new 2 story gym full of brand new equipment and spin studio opening next week.

The new spa offering does not stop there and from next week there will be an inhouse barbers and hair stylist alongside the 15 treatment rooms for Champneys, Elemis and Clarins experiences and a beauty lounge offering manicures, pedicures and make-up.

The improvements don’t stop there, Mottram Hall is only part way through it’s planned improvements, with extension to it’s 18 hole golf course and facilities due next year and refurbishments of all the hotel rooms.
