Hunter’s Gin Box – Delivered #Blog

Is it just me trying to avoid the news to stay in a positive mindset? Luckily, social media provides me with all the relevant updates.

Last week a little post from one of my favourite Gin brands not only brought me some news, but I classed it as a positive news story – so I thought I would share it all with you. We are all trying to do our best to limit our time out of the house, but sadly this makes it a little bit more challenging to get hold of one of my favourite gins – until now!

Hunter’s Gin is currently available as Gin of the Month at Morrison’s and even better Morrison’s Food Boxes offer a Gin Box delivered right to your door including this fabulous product. I think it took me roughly 3 minutes after reading this news to be on the website and ordering my very own.

Even better the package was with me within 24hours (delivery times may differ by branch) luckily for me it arrived just in time for a Saturday evening cocktail. This wonderful box cost just £39 including delivery which is incredible value for what you get; Hunters Cheshire Gin 70cl, 2x Fever-Tree Refreshingly Light Elderflower Tonic Water 500ml, Crafted Blueberry & Blackberry Fruit Juice Drink 330ml (substituted in my box for a can of SanPellegrino Limonata 330ml), Morrison’s The Best Sea Salt & Suffolk Cider Vinegar Crisps 150g, Mallow & Marsh Vanilla Marshmallows 100g and a Morrison’s Loose Lemon.

Included in the box was also a brilliant little recipe card explaining the best way to try Hunters:

Large Hunters Gin poured over Fever Tree Tonic and Garnished with Sliced Orange.

Obviously, we had to give both a try and wow they were so refreshing. Being a high-quality London Dry Gin, this Gin goes with almost any mixer, I personally love it with apple juice and a twist of lemon as it complements the flavours used in the distilling process.

So if you are in need of a Lockdown pick me up or ideas for a gin lovers gift – this would be at the top of my list – This Gin Box certainly Delivered. And Thank you Morrison’s Food Boxes for making this local gin easier to get hold of.
