A FAMILY fireworks display will be back with a bang in Chester this November.
The traditional Lord Mayor’s Firework Extravaganza at Chester Racecourse was off the calendar last year due to a Covid lockdown in November 2020.
But this year will see the return of the popular event, which saw 8,000 people descend on the racecourse in 2019 to watch the colourful displays, with another 2,000 watching from the City Walls.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday, November 6.
Tickets are Β£5 when booked in advance, or Β£7 on the gate on the day. As usual, children under four are welcomed free with an accompanying adult.
Attendees will get to enjoy two firework displays at Chester Racecourse. Earlier on in the evening, a special display for children will take place. Afterwards, the showstopping main display will take to the skies.
