The Vines Gourmet Tasting Evening

Friday 4th March from 6.30pm

£140 per person

Expect an incredible array of dishes featuring the highest quality ingredients, accompanied by fine wine tastings with talks from our experts.

Your journey will begin with canapés and reception drinks served in Goldie’s Lounge from 6.30 pm.

Our art curator, Grant Ford, will be in the lounge to deliver a talk on the incredible sculpture and paintings now found throughout the grounds of our estate.

Following this introduction, our chefs will guide you through a delicious eight-course tasting menu in The Vines.

This will be accompanied by an exquisite selection of fine wine pairings for each course, featuring talks about the pairings from our wine experts.

UNFORGETTABLE TASTING DISHES WITH FINE WINE PAIRINGS

  • Bread – Malt oat loaf with whipped herb butter
  • Celeriac – Celeriac and egg yolk ravioli, watercress, truffle and hazelnuts
  • Game pate en croute – Piccalilli, blood orange and foraged leaves
  • Turbot – Roulade of turbot and chalk stream trout, artichoke and shellfish sauce
  • Beef – Beef fillet, crispy sweetbread, morel mushroom, leek and nettle pesto
  • Cheese – Montgomery cheddar, fig and rye cracker
  • Rhubarb – Vanilla espuma with pain d epice
  • Chocolate Ganache – Pistachio nut and blood orange sorbet
