We are delighted to announce the launch of our BRAND NEW Explorer Trail.
The Explorer trail is a new signposted walk that takes you around the perimeter of the Farm Shop.
Amble up to an ancient mound, send each other sounds using a 10-metre trumpet, count Wild Cats hidden in the trees, spot the secret mirrors and learn all about reflections.
See what you discover. The closer you look, the more you will find.
Get involved
Anyone can walk around the trail but the best way to explore it is to buy an activity pack from the Farm Shop for £6.
Within the activity pack you will find:
A handy map to navigate your way from area to area. It’s not just any map though. On it you will find, facts, activities, jokes and riddles, perfect for keeping even the most energetic explorer occupied for an afternoon.
- Materials for getting creative.
- A postcard to post along the way.
- A special toy.
- Explorer stickers
- Grand Opening Party
The Explorer trail is officially open to explore from this Saturday 27th May.
In 1 week on Monday 29th May at 10am, you are cordially invited to a bank holiday grand opening party in the woodland.
Tickets are £15 and include 2 hours of entertainment with our woodland squirrels, a goodie bag and explorer face painting.
10am – 12pm.
SCHEDULE.
10am Meet at the Farm Shop to ‘check in’ with the squirrels and receive your animal mask.
10.15am Follow the flag down to the woodlands
Join in different activities (nature crowns, popcorn making, toasting marshmallows and entertainment)
Wrap up at 11.45 and follow the flag back to the Farm Shop.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
