A dazzling display of culinary festive creativity

Artezzan has truly outdone itself with its new Christmas menu, “Sparkle and Shine.” From the moment you step into the warm and inviting ambiance, you’re greeted by a festive cheer that’s contagious.

The menu is a delightful blend of classic Christmas flavours with a modern Mediterranean twist. Each dish is a work of art, both visually appealing and incredibly delicious. The Moroccan Spiced Chickpea Soup is a heart warming starter, packed with flavour and perfect for a cold winter’s day. The Cured Salmon Tartare is a delicate and elegant dish, with the subtle sweetness of the beetroot complementing the savoury fish. The Ham hock and pea terrine with a Mediterranean tomato chutney is a slightly heartier option but kept light with minted pea purée and perfectly toasted sourdough.

For the main course, the Braised Tuscan Daube of Beef is a rich and hearty dish, slow-cooked to perfection, this was my personal favourite as it just melted in the mouth. The Festive Turkey Parcel is a festive favourite, expertly prepared and bursting with flavour. The Fillet of Bream is a lighter option, but no less delicious, with the citrus crushed new potatoes adding a refreshing touch.

The vegetarian option was a surprising delight, the spiced, roasted butternut squash and lentil was folded into an elegant filo parcel. Served with a delightfully refreshing pickled fennel & orange salad and fragrant basil dressing. Veggie or not, this was a treat and if you’re doing a few Christmas lunches this lighter option may appeal!

To finish, the Chocolate Torte is a decadent dessert, the perfect indulgence after a sumptuous meal, its what Christmas is all about, rich naughty but nice! The Christmas pudding ice cream that comes with it is unreal and a credit to Nichol’s of Parkgate.

The Panna Cotta is a lighter option complete with the perfect wobble!, with the winter berry compote adding a burst of freshness. The Mixed Berry Sorbet (vegan) is a refreshing palate cleanser, the perfect way to end a festive feast.

Artezzan’s “Sparkle and Shine” menu is a must-try for anyone looking to celebrate the Christmas season in style. The food is exceptional, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
