Nestled in the picturesque setting of Agden Hall, near Whitchurch, the Cheng Supper Club invites you to embark on a culinary journey curated by June Cheng, a passionate chef with years of experience living and working across the Asia-Pacific.
An Intimate Dining Experience
Imagine a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a single 12-seat table, and a six-course tasting menu that showcases the best of Thai, Japanese, and Chinese cuisine. This is the Cheng Supper Club experience. June Cheng masterfully blends authentic recipes with refined techniques, creating modern interpretations of classic dishes, bridging Asian traditions with contemporary British palates.
More Than Just a Meal
“Our goal is to create more than just a meal,” says June Cheng. “We want to transport guests on a culinary journey that reflects the essence of Asia-Pacific cuisine, all within the warm and welcoming atmosphere of our home.”
The Details:
- Location: Agden Hall, Whitchurch, SY13 4RB (on the Cheshire/Shropshire border)
- Dates: First and third Friday and Saturday of each month
- Seating: 12 guests per evening (communal dining experience)
- Menu: Six-course tasting menu, optional alcohol package featuring curated wines and beers
- Time: Arrive between 6:30-7:00 pm, dinner starts at 7:15 pm
- Dietary Requirements: Please note that due to the focus on authentic flavours and techniques, the Cheng Supper Club is unable to accommodate specific dietary requirements.
