As Tatton Brewery completes stage one of this years expansion, including the construction of whopping huge new cold room, there’s more exciting new brews coming in 2018. The Tatton cask Session Special 3.7% will see at least 4 variations on a theme across the year, with alternating availability between other 3.7% beers in their range. Session Special #1 released in February was a juicy extra pale session beer with exotic and tropical mango, passion fruit and grapefruit hop flavours and aroma, Session Special #2 with a fresh recipe will come hot off the back of early summer special Lazy Haze. Other new beers in the works include a session IPA ‘Lemon Grab’ to coincide with the World Cup and a contemporary twist on the classic brown ale. Tatton also say if you’re ordinarily not a fan of dark beers then you must keep an eye out for their delicious Malted Milk Chocolate Stout, truly one of their best and back soon.
Tatton Brewery are currently making plans for their next big event at the brewery as they celebrate 8 years of brewing Cheshire’s finest beer. They’ll have the usual summer shindig 3 day beer festival from June 7th-9th, with a wide-variety of cask ale, some keg and some cider from Gannon too. Entertainment plans include once again from Manchester Brasswurst – our Bavarian Beer Band friends as well as local performer Cat Allen and food-wise we’ve some treats planned too – more to be confirmed nearer the date.
The team at Tatton Brewery love to get involved in there local community so at the beautifully refurbished Antrobus Arms in Northwich, as a tribute to the pubs previous owners and family, they’re very proud to be supporting the charity Action Against Cancer. For every pint of the Collins Sessions XPA bought, 50p is being donated to this worthwhile charity. This extra pale has been brewed by Tatton Brewery and is of session strength and a great accompaniment to any number of dishes on the AA’s incredible new food menu. Not a beer fan? You can still help!
If you order a Trev Collins Gin Cocktail the Antrobus will donate £1 to Action Against Cancer.
The Antrobus Arms has 4 cask lines serving 2 regular beers from Tatton Brewery, a regular from Bollington Brewing and a rotating guest pump with beers already from Merlin, Coach House and Brightside. They’ll be looking further a field for those less often seen guest beers also, to keep the line-up extra interesting and tasty. So come on down and get involved!
