It’s been a busy week for many trying to adjust to life primarily just in their own homes, here at Taste Cheshire we have been trying to find the light between the tree’s – and the silver linings in these hard times. So, in case you’ve missed it we thought we’d summarise the positive aspects of this week as well links to some great idea’s for keeping those kids occupied and even some isolation recipes.
Highlight of the week
Million of Brit’s step out of there homes to somewhere safe like there gardens and doorsteps and Clap for our carers. Some may find it hard being asked to stay at home but the harder job is definitely those people who have been asked to be on the front line of this pandemic. It was certainly an emotional thing for many doing something as simple as clapping, but it got whole families involved and allowed those hard working carers of our NHS to know how grateful the nation is for what there doing. Lots of people are calling for this act of kindness to continue every week until the pandemic is past it’s peak.
Did you hear about Wild and Wild cafes, Pregnant yoga streaming? Pregnant women are going through so much uncertainty right now with worries about the virus, changes to their care and even midwifery units closing locally.
April Wild one of the owners is also a birth worker: doula, hypnobirthing teacher & prenatal yoga teacher. She’s going to be offering some classes to help. Offering relaxation and yoga classes over next few weeks. So, keep your eyes peeled for updates – pregnant or not meditation can always come in handy at these difficult times.
If yoga isn’t your thing and you like to relax in other way Why not check out some of our Cocktail recipe Ideas, we have some great video’s on our socials From Li of Liquor and Co to inspire you.

Later today our friends at Cheshire Wine School are hosting an online Wine Tasting. Here’s a note from the Boos; “Here at Wine Isolation HQ we have a collection of treats to to tide you over until we can see you all again in person. If you can, treat yourself to the same wine and we can taste it together. What will it be? To find out more on how to join us on Saturday please make sure you’re signed up to our eNewsletter and we’ll let you know more tomorrow.
