MasterChef Champion to host fine dining extravaganza this November
WOOD Chester is set to host a fine dining event like no other as MasterChef Champion 2015, Simon Wood, cooks up a feast for food lovers of Cheshire.
On Thursday 7th November, fine dining fans can join chef patron Simon Wood at WOOD Chester, which opened this year in the new Hotel Indigo® on Grosvenor Park Road, for a chance to grill the chef with a Q&A session over some fantastic food.
For just £50 per person, guests will enjoy Simon’s unintimidating fine dining, with welcome drinks on arrival followed by a five course tasting menu, including snacks, served blind so diners won’t know what they’re getting until it’s on the table in front of them. Wine flights are also available at an additional cost, with each dish carefully paired with accompanying wines for the perfect dining experience.
Following the meal, Simon will host a Q&A session, where fans can ask him about anything from his MasterChef journey to running a restaurant empire. Having developed a love of food at a young age, Simon will share everything from his passion for cooking, recipe inspiration and hints and tips for any budding chefs.
For those wanting to make a night of it, diners can upgrade to the bed and breakfast package, enjoying an overnight stay at the luxurious Hotel Indigo, a five course tasting menu with Simon and breakfast the following day all for just £219 per couple.
Simon Wood said “This is a true fine dining experience for any foodie. I love being able to share my menu with people and I’m looking forward to being a part of the night. People in Cheshire often want to know more about the dishes and where my inspiration comes from so it’s the perfect opportunity to host an evening of good food, a few drinks and a chance to talk about my favourite subject – food!”
An Evening with Simon Wood takes place on Thursday 7th November at 7pm. For anyone wanting to take advantage of this unique offer, spaces can be reserved by getting in touch with the restaurant on 01244 735 765 or email [email protected].
