Organiser of the Taste Cheshire 2019 festival announced today that Saturday Kitchen star and leading Restaurateur, Matt Tebbutt will be one of the featured performers at next Easter’s Festival.

Festival Organiser, Briony Wilson was delighted with their new signing. “We always aim to bring the best and most current chefs to Chester and with Mat Tebbutt we not only have one of the BBC’s most important food show hosts we also have an established Restaurant operator who understands the local food scene and is again a wonderful entertainer. We are really looking forward to meeting Matt and seeing him on our main stage.

Coming to Chester was something Matt Tebbutt has been looking forward to as he explains. “I was approached a couple of years ago to come to Chester but I couldn’t work it in to my schedule and so when the opportunity came up this year after meeting with the Taste Cheshire chef, Emma Shawcross, I was keen to find a way to be there. We will be working on some great Spring classics at that time and I know the Chester crowd will enjoy seeing how we bring it all together on the stage”.

The Taste Cheshire Food and Drink festival is in its 19th year and has featured some of the biggest names in the business, James Martin, Gregg Wallace, Simon Rimmer, Mike Robinson, Lesley Waters, Paul Rankin, Michael Caines and Jean Cristophe Novelli are just some of the people who have entertained the large crowds over the years. In addition to these brilliant cooking demonstrations festival goers have the opportunity to cook themselves with free Children’s and Adult cooking classes plus BBQ Masterclasses, and further demos from some of the best chefs in Cheshire and North Wales.

Tebbutt will be on the main Chef Demonstration stage at 12pm and 3.00pm on Monday 22nd April with admittance free to all festival ticket holders.

The Festival runs over 3 days from Easter Saturday until Easter Monday and is staged at Chester Racecourse.
