Experience the Chester Christmas Market in the heart of the city!* Traditional wooden chalets surrounding the iconic sparkling tree, discover unique, locally made produce and with handmade crafts, jewellery, accessories and stocking fillers. You’re sure to find the perfect presents at the market and acorss Chester high street and rows.

Chester Christmas Market is open seven days a week and is located in the city’s beautiful Town Hall Square opposite Chester Cathedral.

Chester Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival
This delightful family event has over 50 Christmas trees each decorated with unique baubles and handmade ornaments that sparkle and shimmer.
Location: Chester Cathedral
Time: Saturday 27 November to Tuesday 4 January 2022.
Cost: FREE, donations welcome

Lanterns light up Chester city centre alongside the Queen of Light puppet joined by school children carrying their own handmade lanterns.
