If you have visited us at The Glynne Arms over the last week you might have seen we’ve made some changes to our restaurant. Our aim was to make it a cosier space both to eat, and to drink too, and feedback so far has been hugely positive. We’d love you to try it out and let us know what you think. We do get pretty busy at weekends, so if you’re planning to come we recommend booking ahead, especially if you are a large party. Call us between 11am-11pm or email us on [email protected] to book your table.
Head Chef Adam’s new Summer Menu has also had some rave reviews, including a fantastic recommendation for our rhubarb and custard pudding by a recent visitor from the Michelin Guide. Adam has been busy picking the rhubarb himself up at The Farm Shop, along with armfuls of of asparagus for our starter of home grown asparagus spears with hollandaise and a poached egg. Take a look at the whole menu here.
And this week on the taps we have Rampart Ale (4.5%) by local brewery, Conwy. It’s a brown ale and goes really well with a Sunday roast. We rotate six different local beers on our taps every week, all of which are brewed within a 60 mile radius of The Glynne Arms. There is a lot to shout about with Welsh ales, and as one of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA)’s top pubs in Chester and South Clwyd we love to support the local breweries who are making some fantastic beers.
