Chefs from Chester will battle it out today in the hope of becoming one of four finalists to compete in the CH1 Chester BID Sous Chef Challenge.
The finalists will compete on stage on Sunday 27 March at the annual Chester Food and Drink Festival. The 2016 champion will be chosen by MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace.
The competition which is open to all CH1 Chester BID members, will recognise the invaluable support of all those in the food business in Chester, who create amazing foods day in, day out.
Chairman of judges, Brian Mellor of the Harthill Cookery School and who runs a number of national cooking competitions said he “is really excited about seeing what these talented group of chefs have to offer”
