For 22 years, Taste Cheshire have been running the Chester Food and Drink Festival at Chester Racecourse. But did you know that for about half that time, they have also organised a campsite in the centre of the racecourse over the weekend of the festival?

Every Easter, Camperfest arrives to take over the Roodee, allowing approx. 500 pitches for campervans, RVs, caravans and tents, with campers enjoying free access to all three days of the food and drink festival, along with 4 nights camping in the heart of Chester City Centre.

Camperfest has its own hub in the form of a tipi which comes with its own bar service from Tipple on Tap, delicious breakfast and dinner options from local foodies Grill n Chills and entertainment such as quiz nights, live music, children’s movies, activity table and all sorts of other fun activities across the weekend.  

We’re thrilled to announce that as of this year, CamperFest will be partnering with a Chester-based campervan hire provider, Calico Campers.
