Staff at the five-star Pheasant Inn in Tattenhall are celebrating after winning a prestigious dining award in a renowned annual publication.

The latest edition of the Good Pub Guide has named the inn Cheshire’s ‘County Dining Pub of the Year’ for 2020, a prize awarded to establishments around the country who produce ‘exceptional meals in convivial surroundings’.

The news of this special award comes shortly after the pub was recognised by website Big 7 Travel as serving one of the top 50 Sunday dinners in the UK in a recent article.
