Returning to Chester, Knutsford & Macclesfield
The Government’s restrictions are scheduled to allow our Cheshire wine school venues to reopen from 4th July so I’ve been preparing to welcome everyone safely back to wine school around the County.
The Chester Grosvenor have delayed their reopening with much to be done to ensure the historic building can reopen safely so our fine wine events will be back later this year. Watch this space!
We very much hope wine school can resume at Restaurant 1539 at Chester Racecourse, Arighi Bianchi Macclesfield and The Lost and Found Knutsford next month and we should have more concrete news from the Government soon.
Please bear with for a short time after as our venues will need to make sure all their procedures are in place too
. I know you will understand that Wine School will have to look a little different but an enjoyable experience is assured as always: Our room layout will change.
While social distancing remains essential, guests will now enjoy the event from individual tables per booking, spaced 2 metres apart, rather than all guests being seated together.
The maximum single group booking remains at six guests, however all guests joining from different households must be seated at individual tables. These will be as close to those from the same group as possible.
80% alcohol hand sanitiser has been purchased for all guests’ use.
All surfaces will be deep cleaned before and after each event and our venues will have their own deep cleaning procedures in place and additional antibacterial surface cleaner will be available to guests to use if they wish. Required PPE will be worn by those serving your food and wine.
Wine tasting notes book will continue to be provided but all guests are kindly asked to keep these with you during the tasting and take them with you at the end of the event.
Until restrictions are lifted, please have your own pen or pencil to use to make any additional notes if you wish to.
The wine school have made arrangements in advance for further requirements which may me legally required and will update guests before each individual event. Once it is safe and we are legally permitted to do so, we will return to the wine
school format you know and love. If you have any questions regarding returning to wine school in Cheshire please do let me know.
Thank you all again for your continued support. Wine School online will continue too, so if you prefer to join a Winecast from home there will be more online tasting dates soon, the next one is scheduled for July 25th. In the meantime stay safe and, as always, Cin Cin! |
