Spain is one of the most diverse wine producing nations on earth and enjoys more hectares of vineyards than any other country in the world. Yet there is so much more to discover!
Famous for it’s sparkling wine Cava and for the Rioja region, there is much much more to Spanish wine! Cava is having a whole host of new regulations for production and Rioja are experimenting with different ageing processes. That aside – in the northwest there are so many exciting white wines from Rias Baixas and Rueda and in the northeast there’s Somontano and Priorat! Have you tried wine from Jumilla yet? If you love big reds, you’ll love wines from Jumilla!
The Tasting Room in Godstall Lane: our very own home of all things wine in the heart of Chester city centre, just moments from Chester Cathedral and The Rows. A four course lunch is included to enjoy food and wine pairing to the full. The principal courses are provided by Chester institution and our amazing neighbour, Dutton’s. Then there are British artisan cheeses from The Cheese Shop, Chester paired with our final red wines.
