Join us on Thursday 25th August for a spectacular fire-cooked feast at Hawarden Old Castle.
You will dine on the lawn where the great hall stood.
Hawarden Old Castle was once a motte-and-bailey fortification destroyed by Llywelyn ap Gruffudd. The rebuilding of the structure would ignite the Second War of Welsh Independence. Still in use three hundred and sixty years later, it changed hands several times during the Civil War.
This is a place of deep history.
Expect knock-out views, good company and exceptional food from the fire by Xanthe Gladstone.
It will be the first feast hosted at Hawarden Old Castle for hundreds of years.
