Christmas | Drink | Wine

Description

New for wine school this year, join us for a festive Saturday afternoon and learn how to make mulled wine to enjoy over the Christmas season, discover an alternative treat created in Austria and test the best of the ready made offerings too! Of course you’ll be enjoying what we make for you throughout the afternoon too and you’ll find out the most suitable wines to buy for the recipe that won’t break the bank either!

With darker evenings and the decorations up, there’s nothing more welcoming in the home than the scent of mulled wine simmering on the stove! Find out how to make it at home with an easy to follow recipe which we’ll prepare for you to enjoy with us. For a slightly more boozy alternative, we’ll be making Amaretto Kirsch Punsch too!

If you find it easier to buy mulled wine ready made, we’ll feature some of the best available locally and the best way to prepare and serve them! Of course Christmas jumpers are welcome and there’ll be plenty of Christmas music too!

Join us in our unique event space, Art Box and look forward to an afternoon of Christmas fun with wine school’s Richard J Smith. Art Box features some amazing paintings from emerging artists around our region offering guests a light yet calming environment to experience wine and food pairing at its best. Look forward to mouthwatering Christmas inspired foodie treats to enjoy with each mulled wine which are prepared and served by the amazing students at Academy West at The Cheshire College hospitality school. We are proud to support the college wherever possible as we have done since 2013.
