Did you know that the shape of the wine glass can dramatically change the flavour of the wine inside it? This is even more accentuated with Champagnes and sparkling wines so why not join us to find out?! You’ll enjoy four glasses of different Champagnes and sparkling wines from around the world selected by The Wine School of Cheshire which will include premium English sparkling wine, The Gusbourne Estate Blanc de Blancs 2015 as well as Champagne André Clouet Grand Cru NV. There will be another vintage Champagne to enjoy as well as another ‘methode traditionelle’ non vintage sparkling wine from around the world.

You’ll taste each wine in three different shaped glasses – which one will you decide produces the best flavour? This event will be Prosecco free as all our wines will be made ‘methode traditionelle’. We’ll share some fantastic Champagne and sparkling wine facts with you too!

Art Box features some amazing paintings from emerging artists around our region offering guests a light yet calming environment to experience wine and food pairing at its best.

Our evening events usually last around two hours where guests can learn more about the wonderful world of wine in a relaxed atmosphere and free of political opinions! Our wine selection will be sourced from a range of local and online specialist stores such as Tanners Wines, Waitrose, DeFine Food and Wine, Wandelust Wines, Laithwaites and M&S. We don’t sell any wine at our events so there’s no hard sell at the end. Your bespoke wine tasting notes book is there for you to use during the evening and take home with you: a handy reference should you wish to visit any of the wine stores we’ve used at a later date.
