Description

The Topsy Turvy Jubilee Tea Party
Help us celebrate the Queen’s platinum jubilee this May half term….
Tatton Park’s picturesque gardens whisk you into a unique whirlwind adventure,
where you’ll encounter a host of jubilant merrymakers’ intent on a regal celebration.
Join us to see the Book of Legends opened once more, where time is of the essence.
But this is no ordinary Garden Party! Enjoy forest fun with a mythical outlaw, potty
tea-time with the Mad Hatter and musical mayhem in Ancient Greece!

Head Gardener Simon Tetlow said,
“We’re delighted to welcome families to this brand-new interactive story walk, with
games and activities delivered by our brilliant partners, Rusticus. Inspired by Tatton
Park’s ancient gardens, your adventure takes you to some of our historic beauty
spots such as the atmospheric Tower Garden, Pine Forest and fascinating Choragic
Monument.

In a Rusticus Adventure, you are the hero of the story! Performances will take place
throughout the day at 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm. There is no extra charge for this
special event – simply turn up on the day and join in. And why not bring your own
royal feast (and picnic rug) to enjoy in the festive woodland glade after your
adventure?

“The Topsy-Turvy Jubilee Tea Party” is a Rusticus Adventure in Tatton Park’s
Gardens, running from Saturday 28 May – Sunday 5 June. Each performance lasts
approx. 45 minutes. All children to be accompanied. Standard garden and parkland
vehicle entry ticket charges apply. Family ticket from £15 – book online in advance and
save an additional 10% at tattonpark.org.uk.
