On Friday 2 December, Tatton Park have a great offer to get you into the Christmas spirit! For one day only you can enjoy FREE parkland entry and FREE admission to our fabulous Christmas shopping extravaganza, inside the Mansion’s Tenants’ Hall.
Free to make you feel good
Tatton Park’s Christmas calendar is full of great value, special events, for all the family to enjoy, and the shopping extravaganza is the icing on the Christmas cake! It’s a great excuse for a free day out with friends and family or gather colleagues for a quick trip out of the office to enjoy some festive fun for an hour. You can enjoy a walk in the park, a nature trail or scavenger hunt before heading into the warmth of the Mansions’ Christmas shopping fair.
Shop locally and give handmade this Christmas
With many feeling the squeeze this Christmas, it’s a great way to support small, independent businesses by shopping local and buying handmade. The Shopping Extravaganza will feature over 30 stalls of quality produce, made or sourced from local artisans and suppliers from across the region. Shop for gorgeous gifts for under the tree, from food, drink, and crafts, not usually found on the high street. Festive drinks and tipples will be served throughout the day by local company, Jonny Cocktail.
Live music from Christmas Choirs
The Shopping Extravaganza, which is open 2 – 4 December, features live music each day, showcasing talents from local choirs. On Free Festive Friday – you can shop–a-long, and sing-along to Christmas tunes performed by Pownell Hall School Chamber Choir at 11am and Wilmslow Preparatory School Choir at 2pm.

Why not visit our Christmas Mansion which celebrates the great British pantomime… “Oh! yes it does!” Enjoy dazzling sets and lighting displays, from Cinderella, to Jack and the Beanstalk and Peter Pan. Stop for a selfie with our Panto Dame and watch out for Captain Hook and Tinker Bell in the Drawing Room!
Opening times and tickets
The Christmas Shopping Extravaganza runs from Friday 2– Sunday 4 December and is located inside the Mansions’ Tenant’s Hall, a short walk from the main car park. Open each day 10am – 4pm (last entry 3:30pm) Enjoy free entry every day.
Parkland entry
You can enjoy free Parkland vehicle entry on Friday 2 December only – Saturday 3 and Sunday 4, parkland vehicle entry is £8 per vehicle, or you can enjoy 10% off this price, if you book online, 3 days in advance of your visit. Head to tattonpark.org.uk for more details.
