Calling all Chester families! Get ready to unleash your inner raver at a super fun event designed for all ages. We’re thrilled to announce that our Taste Cheshire member, Popcorn on St John Street, is hosting the original family rave – Big Fish Little Fish!

New Era, Bigger & Better!

Big Fish Little Fish is kicking off a new chapter under the leadership of two dynamic mums, Holly Cocker and Kate Monaghan. With a passion for creating unforgettable family experiences, they’re bringing fresh energy and exciting ideas to the scene.

“We understand the importance of creating safe, inclusive, and fun spaces for families to enjoy together,” says Holly. “We miss the days of raving and want to share that experience with our little ones in a family-friendly way!”

Popcorn: The Perfect Venue

Popcorn’s co-owner, Steve Davis, is excited to welcome Big Fish Little Fish as their exclusive Chester venue. “We’re one big family here at Popcorn,” says Steve, “and we can’t wait to get everyone involved in this special event!”

Get Ready to Party!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 7th, from 2pm to 4pm! The afternoon will be filled with pulsating beats from DJ Derek Kaye, a legend with over 40 years of DJing experience! Expect bubbles, confetti cannons, giant balloons, craft activities, and nonstop fun for all ages.

“We’re thrilled to host DJ Derek Kaye and offer families an unforgettable experience,” says Holly. “Popcorn’s outdoor and indoor venue provides the perfect space for families to let loose and have a blast!”
