Ginger Monkey Evenings are coming and they are bringing the cocktails!

Ginger Monkey 31 will open its doors for home-roasted coffee-inspired cocktail nights in the run up to Christmas.

An evening service, due to start this month, will create a unique experience for coffee lovers by combining some of their favourite flavours in cocktail form.

They will be staying open into the evenings to serve cocktails and craft beer  until 10pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. With hopes of hosting some local artists for live music nights too.

Although the business only began roasting its own coffee in October last year, plans are already underway to expand with an independent roastery shop, offering unique career opportunities for locals keen to get into the world of coffee.

Ginger Monkey Number 31 will definitely be the new place you need to add to your list for an evening visit.

Their evening service will offer coffee-infused cocktails showcasing coffee beans from across the world, including East Africa, Uganda, China and South America, as well as Taste Cheshire members, gin makers Three Wrens Gin.

Run by husband and wife duo Hayley and Callum Hawthorne, the business recently won at our own awards a Bronze in the Family Friendly Venue.

The couple serve up a range of hot drinks and food seven days a week, and as of Friday, November 25, their doors will be open for those looking for a festive evening tipple on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Co-owner Hayley Hawthorne said: “We’re so excited to be opening our doors in the evenings so that the local community can enjoy our new delicious cocktails and craft beers. “We can’t wait to greet new customers and see our loyal regulars in the evenings. We promise to bring good vibes and we think that’s what everyone needs right now.”

Sample Menu:

Red pepper hummus served with a warm toasted pitta bread. Yum!

Fresh mixed bread board with a pesto dip and balsamic vinegar and olive oil. What’s not to love!?

A classic cheese board served with fresh chutney and mixed crackers. Delicious classic!

It would be wrong of us to not include some coffee-based cocktails so for the sneak peak we’ve chosen to reveal two classics and then one of their in-house creations. There will also be some familiar favourites along with some that you may not have tried before.

Drinks:

Espresso martini

Vanilla Vodka, Double espresso, Kahlύa and Hazelnut syrup finished off with a dusting of chocolate.

Coffee negroni

Gin, Sweet Vermouth, Campari and a Double espresso dressed with a orange peel twist.

Ginger Monkey

Bumbu Rum, Cointreau, Date nectar and our own cold brew, topped off with a fresh orange slice.
