Joy as 3 food and drink producers from Cheshire are named some of the best in the UK by celebrity experts.

A pie maker, dairy and farm shop from Cheshire have all been crowned winners in the 2026 Great British Food Awards.

Heler Foods took Silver for its Original Protein Cheese Bites with head Savoury Snack judge, chef Adam Handling saying they’re, “way better than anything similar in the market” likening the taste to cheese on toast.

Glebe Farm Shop also won Silver for its Premium 6oz Native Breed Beef Burger, and there were two Bronzes for To-Pie-For – one for Chicken, Bacon and Cranberry, and the other for Welsh Dragon.

Head of awards, Jenny O’Neill, said: “We had more entries than ever in 2026, and each year the quality keeps soaring, meaning our judges always have a hard task on their hands. There were many superb products from Cheshire, and each and every winner should feel incredibly proud to have made to the finals, as judging criteria is very strict. Well done to all of them. I’d encourage everyone to go out and support these delicious businesses, run by people who clearly care about what they do – it shows in the eating and drinking!”
