Taste Cheshire love hearing about the success of our local producers.

Having worked with Hunters Gin for many years, we are so proud of their recent success and delighted to share some of the details of it with you. 

Let’s begin with a birth announcement…

This year the proud parents at Hunters would like to introduce you to their newborn “baby” – “weighing in” at just 5cl this cute little guy was initially produced to support their Hotel and hospitality partners for their mini bars and table favours for wedding and similar events.  

Like all babies though, this mini gin is already growing and evolving and looks likely that next time you are jetting off on holiday, you may be able to indulge in a Hunters on the plane.

We are so excited to see a Cheshire brand taking flight internationally in the coming weeks however if you are already abroad, fear not. Hunters Gin is now available in Abu Dhabi, Portugal, Dubai and soon Jordan!

A baby needs his daddy, so Hunters are also excited to introduce the Daddy of their range the litre bottle.

There are now not one but two versions of this big daddy, one with the label right side up  – travellers look out for this one in the duty free! and one with the label the wrong way up to make an optic bottle for those busy bars / restaurants / hotel function rooms.

We are so pleased that some of our Taste Cheshire ‘Places to Stay‘ partners have already adopted these such as the gorgeous The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa but also locally; Devere Cranage Hall / Doubletree by Hilton / Mere country Club / Park Royal / Nuns Mere / Peckforton Castle  just to name a few. The Optic has also been adopted by the Robinsons pub chain and is available in their 150 outlets.

The most important thing is that there are more places than ever to get your Hunters Cheshire Gin fix and Hunters Gin is available in your local Morrison’s or anyone of 16 stores across the county and Coop stores nationally have also listed the gin…that’s 420 more places to buy it. Happy Days.
