Description

Hand-crafted bread, lovingly made by Jane, in small batches with time, time and yet more time.

Jane uses natural and carefully sourced British ingredients with no bleached flour or chemical ‘improvers’.
Jane can be found at Chester’s indoor market and at various other farmers markets around the region including the Taste Cheshire producers market outside Chester town hall on the 3rd Saturday of the month and Abbey Leys Market nr Knutsford.

Jane’s Handmade Bread does not and will not use genetically modified wheat or other GM ingredients in its products.

Her lovingly baked product list changes seasonally but includes a range of white, wholemeal, flavoured and seeded breads, sourdough loaves, rolls, traditional teacakes, Chelsea buns and monkey bread.

Jane also bakes a range of excellent loaf cakes such as bara brith and ginger cakes. Jane can bake to order and welcomes cake orders which can be picked up from her Hoole village home or at any of the markets she attends. Choose from carrot cake, boiled fruit cake, banana & walnut cake and lemon cake (all £3.20)

Jane also supplies bread and buns to a number of reputable restaurant, cafes and farm shops across Cheshire.
