A packed programme of summer fun
Drawing on the much-loved book Mog the Forgetful Cat by award-winning
author and illustrator Judith Kerr, Tatton Park has fantastic Mog trails and
experiences at both the Farm and the Mansion, together with an exciting
timetable of summer activities down at the Farm featuring Little Grey Fergie,
the tractor, a highlight for younger visitors!

Find Bunny in the Mansion

For little ones, a hunt around the Mansion to find Mog’s favourite toy, Bunny,
will provide entertainment even on a rainy day! Then it’s on to the activity room
in the cellars for Mog themed dressing up, games and crafts.

Look for Mog in the Maize Maze

For families visiting the Farm this summer there is a great range of things to
do, with an activity scheduled every thirty minutes. Little ones can meet the
chicks in the hatchery, listen to storytelling, make a medal for Mog, as well as
seeing the latest litter of cute piglets. You can help Mog with the farmyard
chores that she has forgotten to do, learn about where our food comes from
with our Field to Fork story, run around in the woodland play area and visit
the restored mill to see the machinery in action.

Taster Tuesdays at the Farm

Visitors to the Farm on a Tuesday are in for a treat with cookery
demonstrations taking place at 12pm, with different tempting foods each week
to taste, for example, sausage making, flapjack and ice cream making.

Meet Mog at the Farm and Mansion

For a special chance to say hello to Mog the Forgetful Cat, come along to the
Farm on 19 – 25 August or the Mansion on 26 – 28 August. Mog will be
making a special appearance to help celebrate the last week of summer fun!

Roarsome adventures with The Tiger Who Came to Tea Trail

For those who still have some energy left there is the opportunity to grab a
tiger mask and explore the Gardens on an exciting trail based on Judith Kerr’s
The Tiger Who Came to Tea!
