This week Taste Cheshire decided to make a “big deal”, of the Neptune Chester 3rd Birthday celebration by bringing them a very special Taste Cheshire lunch.
Neptune, Chester, the Home Décor specialists based at Mickle Trafford, Chester, have been celebrating their 3rd birthday and to help with the celebrations Taste Cheshire and We Love Cheshire took them a very special Taste Cheshire lunch, cooked by Taste Cheshire Development Chef, Gaile Wundke.
Neptune Owners, brother and sister team, Hannah and Joe Webster were joined at the top table by their sister Caroline and Hannah’s partner Josh, as they sat down to a meal of breast of Chicken topped with brie and pesto and panko breadcrumbs, served with sautéed potatoes, asparagus and balsamic roasted tomatoes on the vine. This was followed by Gin and Lemon creams with gin and tonic jell “ice cubes”
We Love Cheshire CEO Izzy Grey said “We wanted to mark this event in a special way and we couldn’t think of anything better than a perfect lunch for family and friends all cooked and served in the amazing setting within this incredible Neptune showhouse.
Stephen Wundke Taste Cheshire CEO was delighted “It has been a really special family occasion for Hannah and Joe and we were all delighted to have been a part of it. To be able to use the 6 different kitchen settings for this luncheon and then let the owners actually sit down and enjoy the food with their guests just made it all worthwhile. I was amazed when I first visited here that living in and around Chester I didn’t know this fabulous showhouse existed. All these different settings, from bedrooms, to bathrooms and of course all the wonderful kitchens. It was a real eye-opener”
Hannah Webster explained in an interview “Both Joe and I came in to the business from different angles. Joe, very much the figures and contracts guy with his degree in construction coming in particularly useful and me having worked in the family business for Neptune in Southport. It’s a relationship that works very well. Opening in Chester was something special and we are proud to be celebrating our 3rd birthday and it is so lovely to have Taste Cheshire and We Love Cheshire with us here today. Its been a fabulous lunch and it sets the tone for our upcoming Provencal style market from the 2nd -4th August. We are really looking forward to some special culinary treats that weekend and to entertaining our many customers and visitors.
