We have an exciting new selection of cheeses from around the world in our Deli fridges at The Farm Shop, including a couple of really good Gruyeres, two quite different types of Gouda from the Netherlands, a six month matured Spanish Manchego, and lots more.

And we have the perfect accompaniment in our range of Peter’s Yard Crackers. Peter’s Yard strives to bring the very best of Swedish baking to the rest of the world. Their team use naturally fermenting sourdough, Shipton Mill organic flour and the very best natural ingredients that can be found. These crisp breads have won award after award and are served up in Michelin starred restaurant with fans growing addicted to their crisp texture and subtle flavour.hwarden girls_1865621318

Also on the deli counter this weekend, Lorna and the team will be sampling our famous black pudding scotch eggs. They are made with local Nant Ucha eggs and taste amazing, so make sure you stop by! And on the subject of eggs, have you tried our multicoloured Wyau Llainwen Eggs? These multicoloured free range eggs from rare breed hens are reared in the picturesque Vale of Clwyd. The farm has been in the same family since 1739, producing quality Welsh eggs. We can vouch for them, they are seriously delicious, so look out for them just inside the door, along with our other locally produced Nant Ucha eggs.

On the butchery counter this week we can recommend another of Liam’s inventions, the Beef Whirlington. It’s a variation on the traditional Beef Wellington and is one of our best-sellers. And if you’re lucky and Liam has time, he might even show you how it’s made!

Finally, we are excited to welcome back Baravelli’s Chocolates to the farm shop. These are amazing tasting artisan made chocolates are made by world class chocolatiers right on our doorstep in Conwy. A box of these chocolates makes the perfect present, if you can bear to give them away.
