These muffins are perfect as a revision snacks for all those kids doing exams at the moment, or for the breakfast on the go.

  1. Turn oven on to 180 (350f) gas mark 4
  2. Line 6 cake tines with paper cases
  3. Beat together the eggs honey oil
  4. Mix in or beat in the banana if you want it chunky just mix in chopped banana
  5. Sift in the flour baking power and oats fold in
  6. Fold in Chocolate or Chocolate chips
  7. Spoon in to muffin tins
  8. Cook in oven for approx. 15 minutes until golden and risen
  9. Leave to cool slightly then move to a wire rack to cool
  10. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month

120g Self Raising Flour
50g Porridge Oats
1/2 Tea spoon Baking powder
2 Eggs
1 ½Tabel Spoon Honey
100ml Sunflower oil
2 Ripe Bananas
100g Chocolate Chips or Dark chopped Chocolate

Paper cases
Mixing bowl
Electric mixer or wooden spoon
Sieve
Teaspoon
Tablespoon
Plastic spatula
