The Badger Inn is a traditional 18th century inn hidden in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Centred in the picturesque village of Church Minshull the cosy and characteristic ambiance makes the inn a perfect visit for every occasion. For the summertime there is a glorious hidden garden over looked by the tall, elegant and distinctive St Bartholomew’s Church, or for the colder times sit back and relax next to one of the real log fires.
With vast stretches of canals, open fields and fading horizons the Badger Inn is in the ideal retreat after walking, exploring or boating. The Shropshire Union canal is only 500m away making it the ideal mooring spot along the Middlewich branch at Bridge 14.

The bar offers some of the finest Cheshire real ales from its best micro breweries with ales and breweries rotated regularly there always a new top tasting Cheshire pint to try. For the perfect get away you can spend the night in one of our five beautifully furnished rooms, each with its own distinct character, decor and individually named after the five pubs with historical links to the Hughes family.
