Upstairs at the Grill is a split-level Manhattan style steakhouse located in an iconic Chester building on Watergate Street,  established in 2002 and now reimagined and reopened in 2022. Tradition meets with contemporary for a truly unique dining experience.

The restaurants offers a unique dining experience using a carefully sourced selection of the finest steaks from traditional British breeds alongside the greatest cuts from the US and around the world. Not only is the contemporary wine cellar home to an extensive wine collection including some of Napa Valley’s most sought-after wines, but you can expect classic and unique cocktail creations plus a fine selection of whiskies, bourbons and Cognacs.

Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, the roof terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy lunch – with a fully retractable roof for when the sun shines and heaters for colder days and evenings.
