It’s another big week for Taste Cheshire as we strive to keep bringing you, our reader, more and more of what you want. How?

Firstly we are launching this weekend our brand new “Places to Stay” section. Most of you know of the wonderful independent eateries we have across Cheshire but how many know of the 4,6,8,12 bedroom boutique and farmhouse hotels that accompany many of these places. Like the fabulous accommodation at the Pheasant at Buwardsley or the great rooms at great prices in the Coach House Inn, Chester, right in the heart of the city, or the amazing lodges at The Hollies at Tarporley. Who would want to stay in some box room at a Premier Inn or Travel Lodge and eat some plastic breakfast, when you can stay in better rooms with real people looking after you for the same price and eat great local tastes, where people care about you. That’s what Taste Cheshire is all about. Giving you the local information that makes a difference to your stay, your dining or your shopping.

Our pages now show the rooms, indicative prices and any special deals, but most of all they come with a guarantee that if you book direct with the hotel you wont get a cheaper room anywhere else, no dodgy commissions or constant spam emails from third parties, honest business. So trust Taste Cheshire and trust the owner of the hotel and enjoy the best deal in the best places.

But that’s only one part of the new improvements at Taste Cheshire, the second one is our Friday newsletter. You know, if you have registered for free as a member (and if you haven’t, why haven’t you?), that on Tuesday we send out a newsletter with our recent reviews, our market information and of course our very special Taste Cheshire Tuesday deals, well, we decided that there are so many great Friday night Fizz and cocktail offers; as well as happy-hours, Saturday dining events and Sunday Roast deals, that it was time to tell you where the best deals were and how to find them. So we now send out another newsletter on Friday to make sure you are right up to date. More reviews, more product information, market and shop times and of course those all important deals. So remember, every time you choose to eat in one of the places we recommend, or you buy produce from one of our Made in Cheshire members, you are putting money back in to our local economy and protecting local jobs and most importantly you are getting a great product. It’s a win for everyone.

We will always tell you about our newsletters and our reviews on social media and to that end, on our website you will see not just our Facebook and twitter feed but as of this weekend our Instagram stories will also show so you can catch up on everything we do live on our website at all times.

Taste Cheshire interacts with in excess of 40,000 people every month, people just like you, who love Food and Drink and our aim is to keep promoting everything that makes Cheshire the county of food and drink and with your help we can just keep growing the information and the quality. So spread the word this weekend and sign up some of your friends to Taste Cheshire and tell us what you might like to see on what is now the people of Cheshire’s favourite dedicated food and drink website.
