Cheshire’s award-winning family attraction, The Ice Cream Farm, is gearing up for its peak summer season.
With a jam-packed schedule of events, plus a slick new website, the Tattenhall visitor experience is looking forward to a busy summer welcoming tourists and locals for a low cost day out.
“The school holidays in July and August are our busiest time of year,” said CEO Jonathan Fell. “So for 2023 the team has come up with events to add to our offering for visitors, creating unique experiences where they can make memories as a family.”
Events will include a magician-themed family escape room, and a party to celebrate the start of the school holidays with a DJ and entertainment.
“We’re acutely aware this year of the rising costs facing families,” added Jonathan. “That’s meant we’ve particularly looked at ways we can make a visit to The Ice Cream Farm more affordable and better value.
“The School’s Out Summer Party is a free event, and there will be a shuttle bus service on selected dates with entrance to The Ice Cream Farm included.
“After its popularity last year we’ll be bringing back Free Return too; where visitors who come during the summer holidays can come again during the winter for free!”
The Ice Cream Farm’s popular SEN Sessions will continue over the holidays. And The Ice Cream Drive In will be open – on the same Tattenhall site – for visitors who just wish to have a scoop of award-winning Cheshire Farm Ice Cream.
“From a business perspective we’ve invested a lot this year in making the visitor experience better,” said Jonathan. “Like the recently opened barista-style café in the soft play and the brand new website from Entyce in Chester. Our hope is that returning customers will see an improvement to their Ice Cream Farm experience, and new visitors will return again to our rural Cheshire attraction.”
