Renowned restaurant Sotto and ‘secret’ speakeasy Stir By Night drinks’ masters, are joining forces to create a unique culinary and cocktail ‘Tails of the Med’ evening where guests bring their favourite bottle of spirit.
It’s bottomless food and cocktails for three hours promising delicious drinks and gourmet delicacies for £40 a head at the beautiful art deco inspired eatery on Warham Street, Wilmslow, Thursday, August 9.
Launched last year, Sotto has made its name as an authentic Mediterranean eatery run by Italian husband and wife team, chef Giorgio Mot who has worked for restaurants across Europe, and his Spanish wife Athena, serving everything from freshly made pasta to paella and other classic dishes from Italy and Spain.
Stir By Night is the brainchild of Angus Pride Cameron, a hospitality consultant who has worked for and with the best bars and restaurants in the city, and KURO Gin owner Craig Fell.
“It’s going to be a sophisticated, sexy and fun night,” said Athena. “We are creating an amazing menu of beautiful Mediterranean-inspired dishes and Stir By Night will be complementing them with their gorgeous cocktails. It will be a night to remember!”
Guests bring a bottle of their favourite tipple which they can pool or keep for their own drinks and the Stir By Night team will create wonderful cocktails, paired to match the menu.
“It’s going to be fantastic collaboration of our great cocktails and Sotto’s wonderful food,” said Craig. “It’s bottomless, so it’s all you can eat and drink for three hours and we ask people to bring a bottle so we can keep the cost down. That works for everyone, as you can bring your favourite tipple or what’s in the back of the kitchen cupboard and we’ll work our magic!”
Doors open 7pm and the event finishes at 11pm. Tickets must be bought in advance from https://www.sottowilmslow.co.uk/home/tails-of-the-med/.
