January is usually an exciting month at Taste Cheshire. We usually begin the year with the thrill of the launch of the Taste Cheshire Award voting going live.
Every year upwards of 40,000 people vote for the wonderful food and drink venues across our brilliant county. A unique way so say thank you and pay tribute to those in the hospitality industry in Cheshire who go above and beyond all year round.
This year more than ever, we wish we would raise our glasses to this incredible group of people.
Regrettably after postponing the 2020 Awards following the public vote, we have absolutely no choice but to further postpone what would have been our very exciting 20th year of the Taste Cheshire Awards.
Fear not though, we will not let this pandemic beat us. Everyone in our industry has fought so hard to keep going and keep providing in these terrible times, and we share that commitment.
When possible, we will open the public vote once again, and combine the votes from 2020 and 2021, to bring a bigger and better 20th Taste Cheshire Awards.
At this time, we do not have a confirmed date as to when voting will take place. Following the public vote, we will need to mystery dine and shop the finalists in each category and we want to make this as fair as possible for all businesses involved after the very unusual times over the past year.
So please bear with us, the Team at Taste Cheshire truly love the Awards process and the celebration of local food and drink.
We will be working behind the scenes to make the returning awards the best ever, We want to make the awards once again a celebration of food and drink and an industry that has fought so brilliantly, to get through difficult times.
