Taste Cheshire members shortlisted for Food Porn awards #Blog

Ring O’Bells, Oddfellows and the Royal Oak Kelsall have all been shortlisted for the Food Porn Awards 2018.
The awards celebrate the best looking food in the North and are split into two categories: fine dining and casual dining.
After receiving 350 entries, the top 30 from each category have been shortlisted, with the top six going through to the finals, where they will have their dish re-shot by the award winning STM Photography, before an expert panel of judges will pick a winner.
The entry from Ring O’Bells is their fantastic Wood Pigeon dish which includes British Wood Pigeon, Natural Yoghurt Splash, Roasted Sunflower Seeds, Roasted Roots, Butternut Puree, Pickled Walnuts, Micro Fennel and Red Amaranth.
Wood Pigeon is also on the menu at Oddfellows but with Salt Baked Beetroot and Blackberry with a Port Wine Reduction.
The third of our members up for the same fine dining award are the Royal Oak Kelsall and their dish is Plump Duck Plums… Barbary Duck Breast, Smoked Bacon Lentils, Roasted Spice Plums & Blackberry Jus.
The winners will be announced at the Food Porn Awards exhibition in March at the Northern Restaurant and Bar show.
