For Today’s Taste Cheshire superstars we hear from Sanjay of Spice Kitchen. It isn’t often that our fabulous producers have time to take a pause in production, so with every grey cloud, you have to see the silver lining. Sanjay is currently adjusting to the new schedule and taking advantage of extra time with his toddler ( I’m not sure much relaxing will actually happen).

I have myself been known many a time to wish for a few more hours in the day, so perhaps we should look at lock down as a pause button and a option, to push forward with those plans that get put on the back burner. Sanjay is doing just that investing heavily in online, using agencies to build ebay, Amazon stores and improve their own online store. You will soon see lots of new photography and content. But don’t forget to keep an eye on his socials as lots of new recipes are on there way to keep your meal interesting over the next few weeks.

It’s not always easy to keep things light these days, with 70% of Spice Kitchen usual outlets closed as part of the shut down, but now is the time to refocus on the positive things and spend that time being creative and planning for the future, the market is going to be a different place when we all get back to normality.

In this great period of reflection Sanjay has asked us to put a big thank you out to his operation manager Morgan, she may have only been with the company 6 months, but she has made a big impact. Morgan made the crazy jump from legal secretary to operations manager just a short time ago but is already proving her loyalty to the brand as well as putting a smile on everyone’s face and not just with her coffee making skills. She keeps the business operations going on a day to day basis, giving Sanjay the ideal work life balance and the chance to plan for the future.

Sanjay also has a message for you; Don’t panic!
We are very much open for business and are still delivery orders through our online store daily. We can’t wait for this all to be over, a party will definitely be in store to celebrate, this all being over and the launch of a whole range of new products which will be launching online, and wholesale.
