After spending the day with Carl Gillard at Precious Chocolates learning all about about confectionery and chocolate, we were lucky enough to talk to him a little more with Gavin Matthews on Dee 106.3 last night. As if Carl hadn’t had enough of us by then!
Carl has worked as a consultant to confectionery manufacturers all around the world. He started this business in 2007 and what Carl doesn’t know about confectionery and chocolate isn’t worth knowing.
Carl talked to us about the intense methodology that goes into making each batch of chocolates, it is extremely time consuming but the results are definitely worth the time.
We tasted a variety of Precious Chocolates:-
- Milk Chocolate Honeycomb
- Dark Chocolate covered Blueberries
- Milk Chocolate with Crystallised Ginger
- Milk Chocolate with Chilli
Wow, these were absolutely amazing, I wanted to devour the lot!
Carl uses only the best, top quality ingredients in his confectionery, there are no corners cut and no substitutes used. Which is what makes Precious Chocolates so precious.
