Our taste buds were really being teased last night on Dee 106.3.
Our very own Chef Ambassador and Head Chef at Cheshire Cookery School, Sam Elliott was talking about his busy schedule and the exciting things he is getting up to at the Cookery School, which includes working alongside ITV on a new programme.
Cheshire Cookery School based in Altrincham, offer a superb variety of cookery classes and have recently introduced a few new popular classes such as dim sum, macarons.
Sam was the Chef judge for the Young School Chef of the Year competition and was heavily involved in the recent Italian Awards.
We are delighted that Sam will be holding Cheshire Cookery School Classes at the Chester Food and Drink Festival this Easter 15-17 April at Chester racecourse.
The classes will be held each day at the following times and can be booked via the Chester Food and Drink Festival website:-
11:30 Taste of Asia – Prawn and bamboo shoot dumplings.
13:30 Middle Eastern Meze – Sticky lamb kofta’s with tabbouleh – a lovely fresh, herb tabbouleh salad with lamb koftas sprinkled with pomegranate.
15:30 Fantastic Fish – Thai seabass with lime and chilli – proves to be a simple and very flavoursome, fresh dish.
We were lucky to tuck into taste the Sticky lamb koftas with tabbouleh and it was incredible. The kofta’s were slightly spicy but not overpowering with a slightly sticky molasses sauce. The tabbouleh was so fresh with minty herb flavour and had been cooked in orange juice and chicken stock. A beautiful summer alfresco dish.
Thanks Sam. We are really looking forward to your cookery classes.
