The Big Lock in Middlewich is Under New Management!

Great news for food and drink lovers in Cheshire! The popular canalside pub, The Big Lock, located on Webb’s Lane and the Trent and Mersey Canal in Middlewich, is now under new management. It’s All About You Hospitality has taken over the reins, promising a new chapter for this much-loved local spot.

After a significant £480,000 refurbishment in 2020, The Big Lock has already established itself as a family and dog-friendly village pub, complete with a standalone canalside café. Jim Dorrington, the director of It’s All About You Hospitality, shared his excitement on social media about the takeover.

While the team doesn’t anticipate major changes in the immediate future, they are already planning a significant refresh. Keep an eye out for a brand-new menu and a whole new food offering, set to launch in mid-September.
