The excitement grows for the return of Deva Fest to Chester Lakes, Friday 12th – Sunday 14th August 2022. Deva Fest is Cheshire’s great value family friendly three day extravaganza of music, parades, shows and fabulous food and drink from local suppliers which takes place at the Chester Lakes just three miles south of Chester City Centre.
The opening day kicks off with old school dance anthems. Symphonic Ibiza fuses a thrilling live orchestra with high tempo beats to reimagine the dance classics of the White Isle. Whilst Club legend Sonique will get the party started!
Saturday is Pirate Day so get involved in your best Pirate gear and join in with parades and street artists. Sophie Ellis Bextor will get the party started with her long list of hits, the princess of pop will be hosting more than a Kitchen Disco this August. Alongside Heather Small the voice of the 90s, noughties and the Olympics.
Then we are ending on a real high, by going out on a bang on Sunday with the ultimate festival bands! Including Scouting for Girls and Dodgy.
Deva Fest is for everyone, an inclusive event, offering fun for the whole family. All fairground rides are free to use once you enter and there is loads more to keep the little ones entertained – messy play for toddlers and children hosted by Laughter Tots, parades from the team behind the fabulous Chester Mid Summer Watch Parade, fancy dress competitions, and fun for all ages!
Mermaid Cove, Europe’s largest Mermaid tank featuring bubble discos, meet and greets, games, interactive fun and of course real live mermaids and mermen, will be at the show daily.
Xplore Science Discovery Centre Wrexham will be joining us, so you can blast off on a trip across the universe aboard their planetarium, stopping off at the Sun, the Moon, planets and stars along the way.
As well as the Star Dome there will be science discovery shows, demonstrations and experiments for you and your family to experience!
New for 2022, Deva Fest has two stages and our Deva Laughs comedy tent.
Our main stage is in a circus style big top you will find our headliners playing. The main stage opens around tea time each day. Our second stage is outside and operates for most of the day with a mixture of up and coming bands, DJs and local talent. Deva Laughs is our comedy tent and that opens every evening.
Another new addition this year is the 300 seater Gin & Prosecco Festival . Sit back in style with a range of cocktails and drinks served up by the people behind Liquor and Co. & Craft & Company in Chester.
If you are up for the ultimate celebration this is the place to be with fab cocktails, mocktails and concoctions, but that’s not all… Deva Fest are working with local distillers to bring you gin tasting sessions with passionate producers at the event.
For the foodies out there, Deva Fest has a great offering off Street food and sweet treats allowing you to eat around the world and satisfy all those foodie cravings. From gourmet Burgers to Chinese shao kao barbecue and artisan handmade pizzas.
