The Ice Cream Farm Unveils ‘Ice Cream Fields’: A Flavour-Filled Inclusive Playground
The Ice Cream Farm, named Cheshire’s Visitor Attraction of the Year, has officially launched Ice Cream Fields a new outdoor adventure play experience that redefines fun, flavour, and inclusivity.
This immersive playland celebrates the magic of ice cream through vibrant zones like Chocolate Rock, Mint Marshlands, Vanilla Valley, Bubblegum Creek, and Dream Berry Meadow, each designed to spark the imagination and get kids of all ages moving, climbing, exploring, and laughing.
At the heart of Ice Cream Fields is the Flavour Generator, a specially designed interactive motion-powered arch filled with ice cream-themed games and surprises, plus you’ll find Flavour Stations that release mouth-watering scents like chocolate, bubblegum, and mint, turning playtime into a sensory adventure.
The launch also marks 10 years since The Ice Cream Farm’s major redevelopment, a milestone moment for the much-loved attraction.
“A decade ago, we set out to create the most enjoyable destination for families in the region,” said Jonathan Fell, CEO of The Ice Cream Farm. “With Ice Cream Fields, we’ve gone even further, bringing together play, imagination, and flavour in a way that’s never been done before. It’s a true celebration of everything we stand for – fun, innovation, and creating magical memories.”
But the project is more than just bold colours and big slides. Ice Cream Fields was developed with inclusivity at its core, ensuring children of all abilities can play side by side.
“We believe play should be for everyone,” said Katie Lewis, Managing Director of The Ice Cream Farm. “That’s why we’ve included a wheelchair-accessible roundabout, carefully considered inclusive equipment, and multi-sensory play features like interactive games and our scent-releasing Flavour Stations. We’re proud that Ice Cream Fields offers something for every child to enjoy – together.”
