THE IVY CHESTER BRASSERIE MENUS REVEALED AS BOOKINGS OPEN AHEAD OF LAUNCH
The Ivy Collection has revealed the menus which will be available for guests to enjoy upon the official opening of The Ivy Chester Brasserie on 28th April.
With reservations now officially open, the restaurant has announced it will be serving a range of all-day dining experiences, including breakfast and brunch, afternoon tea and cream tea, à la carte dining and a traditional Sunday roast. Seasonal set menus will also be available, designed to bring everyday luxury to the city’s dining scene.
In particular, The Ivy Chester Brasserie on Newgate Street will be serving its Heritage Menu which offers two courses for £20.95, available Sunday to Friday. The menu offers a choice of five different starters, with stand-out dishes including Crab and Chive Cream, served on watermelon topped with crushed avocado and radish, as well as Gochujang Chicken and Asian Slaw, with shredded crispy wonton, sesame seeds, wasabi mayonnaise and micro coriander, and a Whipped Feta and Filo Salad, served with baby spinach, marinated apricots and chicory with a truffle vinaigrette.
For main courses, diners can choose from another five delicious options, including The Ivy Classic Shepherd’s Pie – an established favourite across The Ivy’s restaurants – cooked with slow-braised lamb and beef with Cheddar mash, rosemary and red wine sauce. Other options include Pan-fried Sea Bass with Keralan Curry Sauce, with coconut, cumin and turmeric sauce, shaved fennel and spinach, or a Spicy Jackfruit and Roasted Peanut Bang Bang Salad with chayote, sesame, while mooli, and shredded Chinese leaf.
If there’s still room for dessert, diners upgrade their two-course meal to three courses for just £5.95. The dessert selection offers a range of five mouth-watering dishes, including Crème Brulée, flambéed tableside with silky vanilla custard and a gold caramelised sugar crust; Strawberries and Cream, with freeze-dried raspberries, meringue, strawberry sauce and lemon balm; or a savoury cheese option of Fourme d’Ambert, a French blue cheese from the Auvergne region, served with crackers, apple and celery.
