The Lost Barn Coffee Roasters Becomes Cheshire’s First Coffee Roastery to Achieve B Corp Certification

Cheshire, UK – July 2026 – The Lost Barn Coffee Roasters (also known as Lost Barn Coffee) has announced that it has achieved B Corp Certification, becoming the only coffee roastery in Cheshire to earn this globally recognised accreditation for social and environmental impact.

B Corp Certification is awarded to companies that meet rigorous standards of performance, accountability, and transparency across areas including environmental impact, governance, employee wellbeing, and community engagement.  It is widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive measures of a company’s overall impact.

While the number of coffee roasters in the UK with B Corp certification is growing, Lost Barn Coffee is one of only a handful outside of the South of England to achieve the accreditation. This places them among a small and progressive group of businesses leading the way in responsible and sustainable coffee supply in the North and Midlands.  

Based in the south Cheshire countryside, where it roasts speciality coffee in small batches with a strong focus on ethical sourcing and sustainability, Lost Barn Coffee has built its business around the belief that great coffee should create a positive impact from farm to cup.

The Lost Barn, located just outside the village of Tilston, is open to the public and has an onsite café, allowing customers to watch the coffee roasting process in action and engage with the team.
