Cheshire West & Chester Council have approved plans for the number 41 bus service to extend its route to include a drop off and collection from The Ice Cream Farm, the ‘World’s Largest Ice Cream Shop’ in Tattenhall, just outside Chester.

Collection times will be 12.40, 14.55 and 16.20 back to Chester. From Easter, the service will run also run on Saturdays. A return ticket for a family of 5 will cost £10.
Jonathan Fell, Director of The Ice Cream Farm comments: “We have been negotiating on this service for some time and are so glad it’s finally here. There is a huge demand from our customers who want to make the most of public transport to and from the farm. The service will be a beneficial for both visitors and local residents, especially in the busy summer months as it will greatly help to reduce traffic along Newton Lane”.
The Ice Cream Farm is open daily 10am-5pm, and 9.30am-5.30pm in the summer months.
Cheshire Farm Ice Cream has come a long way since 1986 when it was just a small parlour selling ice cream straight from the farm.
