Lockdown has been long…
And particularly hard on our friends and colleagues in the Cheshire Food and Drink industry. Many businesses have been without their livelihoods and you, their customers, for in excess of THREE months.
But today, Saturday 4th July, that changes. it’s time to begin easing lockdown and we are more than ready to support our local food and drink outlets, taking their first beautiful reopening steps.
Their efforts to prepare their venues have been nothing short of heroic. Taking time to pour over guidelines, scrub every nook and cranny, prepare and train staff for the “new normal” and above all they are all completely committed to keeping their customers as safe as possible.
Of course, you can expect the return of old favourite menu items, as well as exciting new options concocted through the long lockdown and I for one, cannot wait to taste them all…
So we ask you this…As we take this super exciting step on the road to recovery, please do so safely, respect the new rules and appreciate the staff who have done so much to make ready for you. We want to be making long lists of open venues for many, many weeks to come.
Please enjoy a wonderful summer supporting these wonderful local businesses, helping our local hospitality economy rebuild and continue enjoying the best food and drink in the world (in our humble opinion).
